Solitary Sandpiper and Greater Yellowlegs
When we get significant rains in the area, puddles at Hammonasset Beach State Park are created that attract shorebirds. Recently I managed to photograph two such opportunists.
First up: the Solitary Sandpiper.
The other bird is the Greater Yellowlegs:
