Today we are putting the party tent, under which the teardrop was being built last year, back in place. Within the next few days, then, the trailer will be brought out of storage and construction will resume. I am anxious to get back to it!
Meanwhile, here are some birds from the past couple of days.
First up is a nice little Goldfinch, singing his heart out.
I couldn't resist this pair of tree swallows, parked on the No Parking sign.
I'm always ready to shoot a Great Egret, especially when so uncluttered as this.
These two Willets caught my eye, mostly because of their perch at the top of the tree. Normally I will see them in the marsh, where there's little contrast against the background.
Finally for today, a posing Glossy Ibis.
